The MAX|alerts system is also monitoring for these common problems:

 

• Hard drive I/O errors and SMART status changes.

• Monitors BACKUP systems for failure and alert when not performing as expected.

• Server errors, availability, utilization, license expirations, proper backup functionality, etc.

• RAID failures from Apple and SoftRaid, amongst other hardware RAID systems.

• Network errors via Ethernet or WiFi.

• Failing laptop batteries, Kernel panics, faulty RAM (memory), unscheduled reboots, and even failed power-on self-tests which usually are ignored by the employees.

• A basic level of malware detection is also performed. The consultant will be alerted to take action immediately.

• The system also performs and keeps a basic inventory on the monitored systems for easy control.
